Joint Letter to Arlington Police
ARCA, the Crystal City and Aurora Highlands Civic Associations have sent a letter to the Arlington Police Dept. voicing collective concern about the alarming and growing incidents of violence and property crimes in the area — carjackings, assaults, purse snatching, and airbag theft – nearly 3 dozen were stolen from Hondas and Acuras. The associations urged the police to increase their presence in the “hot spots” in Crystal City and to conduct more drive-by patrols of resident.
