The Ball-Sellers House is a captivating historical site near the heart of Arlington. Built c. 1750, this farmhouse is one of the oldest structures in the region and offers a unique glimpse into the life and times of the 18th century.  The Ball-Sellers House is not just a museum; it is a living history experience where you can learn about the challenges and triumphs faced by those who lived in this home.

ACPD Quarterly Community Meeting

The Arlington County Police Department’s (ACPD) Community Engagement Division invites the public to the fall quarterly community meetings covering community issues, crime prevention tips and quality of life concerns. All are welcome to attend these meetings that will cover topics including, but not limited to:

​

  • Information on how to spot, avoid and report scams

  • Discussion on holiday shopping safety tips

  • A retail theft presentation by ACPD’s Sergeant A. Barnickle and Corporal R. Williams

  • Answers to questions from community members

 

ACPD wants to ensure the information presented during the quarterly community meetings is tailored to the community’s areas of interest. Attendees are encouraged to submit question(s) through ACPD’s Quarterly Community Meeting Question Form no less than three business days ahead of the meeting they plan to attend.

November 5, 6:00pm-8:00pm: Virtual (Language interpretation in Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, Mongolian, Mandarin Chinese, and Sign Language)

Join us at one of the community meetings to learn more about the Comprehensive Plan Update and share your insights and lived experiences to help us develop an introductory chapter for the plan. This interactive meeting will include a presentation as well as small group discussions.​
